Dakhla is windy all year round! However, the strongest and most consistent winds are from April to October. During summer, the wind is typically between 25-35 knots.
You should be comfortable in the water. We provide life jackets for all students, and our teaching spots in the lagoon are shallow, meaning you can stand up easily.

Usually, 9 to 12 hours of lessons are enough for most beginners to start riding their first meters on the board. Everyone learns at their own pace.
